No-Code Integrations

Not a developer? Not a problem.

If you’re wanting to work with the beehiiv API to integrate your publications with other software but don’t have the time or resources to build an integration yourself, there’s a few options available to you.

The beehiiv team currently maintains a Zapier integration and a Make integration. Both offer a no-code way to integrate your publication with other software.

Zapier

Zapier is a platform that allows you to connect your publication to other software without having to write any code. You can use Zapier to receive real-time notifications when certain events occur on your publication, such as when a new subscriber signs up, or to make changes to your publication, such as adding a new subscriber from another service.

To get started, you’ll need to sign up for an account, create a new “Zap”, and search for “beehiiv” in the list of apps to connect to.

Triggers are how Zapier refers to webhooks. When you create a new Zap, you’ll be able to select the type of event you want to trigger your Zap. Actions are how Zapier refers to the API calls that you want to make to the beehiiv API. Both follow similar patterns to the webhooks and API reference found elsewhere in this documentation, but are tailored to Zapier’s UI and capabilities.

For more information on how to use Zapier, check out their documentation.

Make

Make is another platform that allows you to connect your publication to other software without having to write any code. You can also use Make to receive real-time notifications when certain events occur on your publication, such as when a new subscriber signs up, or to make changes to your publication, such as adding a new subscriber from another service.

To get started, you’ll need to sign up for an account, create a new “Scenario”, and search for “beehiiv” in the list of apps to connect to.

To use webhooks with Make, please refer to our webhooks documentation for more information. For other actions, Make provides a UI for you to interact with the beehiiv API in a similar fashion to the API reference.

Compared to Zapier, Make offers additional functionality, such as easy-to-use functions for formatting and manipulating data in between steps.

For more information on how to use Make, check out their documentation.

The beehiiv support team only services Make and Zapier for no-code integrations. If you’re using other no-code platforms, we may not be able to provide direct support for your integration.
